Besides being the primary coarse aggregate used in a concrete mixture that gives concrete strength, gravel my also be delivered for use on driveways, parking lots, and roadbeds. It comes in different sizes which are measured by sieve screens. The most common gravel used are 3/8 inch (pea gravel), 1 inch, 1.5 inches, or a mixture of larger, multiple size gravel (road gravel).
